Learning Curve for Premiere CS3
So I spent about 5 hours editing the client’s interview video together only to find out that the entire thing is to be trashed. The original footage from the JVC camera came out in .mod format. From there I converted it to .mpg. Once in Premiere I found a lot of red frames which I had to edit around (the bulk of my problems). So there I was, red frame free, and sent the WIP video to be exported. Thank the Lord for a fast computer. I was clocking in at 6 minutes for a 14GB verison and 2 minutes for a 89MB verison.
The WIP .mov was full of red frames. Argh. So after a suggestion from J, I went and renamed the files as .avi. I did a test run, no red frames, but the exported quality was crap. Fortunately this video is going up on the web so I’m not expecting something astounding in its beauty.
But all those hours gone. >__> Below is the crappy red framed verison.
