First time using Wacom tablet
I’ve got an older Wacom tablet on hand here, lended to me from Shiver. It’s about 4×6 in size so its very small and comes only with the pen. I believe its a Graphite 3.
Long time ago, her sister Heather promised me an old tablet to which she then failed to follow up on giving it to me. So here I am, using this one, while Shiver is using the shiny new Intuos 3 6×11. She hasn’t hooked it up yet but she texted me “shiny.” Haha.
I’m trying to get used to it. I have to keep pretty close to the surface for the pen to register and I keep losing my place on the screen. Occasionally I double-click on accident. Trying to pause youtube videos is proving difficult. The biggest problem though is that my computer is kept on a computer cart. The tablet and keyboard aren’t fitting on the same shelf together, so right now the keyboard is hanging over the edge while the mouse is sitting atop the tower.
However I did attempt to trace an old drawing. I am uploading the results to use as a comparison in the future.
