I used my older model George Foreman grill to thaw and cook a chunk of frozen hamburger meat. First, I coated both sides of the grill with non-stick cooking spray then plugged in the grill for five minutes. Meanwhile, I had a cup of rice cooking on the stove. Once the rice was boiling, I cut it down to low and covered it with a lid. I then placed my frozen meat on the grill and coated both sides with Steak Rub and Meat Tenderizer. I left the meat to cook and checked it periodically. When the outside was done, I cut it open and discovered that while the outside was black, the inners were still pink. Me, I’m a dead as you can get w/o being ash sort of gal. So I used a trick from Shiver and threw the meat on a plate and nuked it in the microwave for 3 minutes. When that was done, I then placed the meat and rice on a plate together. I then smothered a trail of Heinz 57 sauce over them.
The result: gross.
I’ll have to try again later.
