I came home and worked on this for a bit. I’m not 100% sold on it yet, but it’s a vast improvement over the other design. I especially like the vagulely Celtic knots on the corners. The client requested bright, primary colors.

The site looks nice. I am curious to see how the site would look with just the blue and green double lines- and with the lines made a little thinner.
I would try deleting the orange and red lines and maybe see how it looks with the green lines on the right side where the orange lines are now. You could even try varying the width of the lines for further interest.
