A Ghost of Daisies

Started at my new workplace today. I’m exhausted. The work wasn’t hard but I think the situation made things difficult being the new girl and all. Three years ago I originally started working for this company and at lunch that day, a boy sat down and started pulling at my book, wanting my attention. We dated for two years. Today I drove to Chick-fil-a for a lonely lunch then ran to the vet’s to pick up some special cat food (the diabetic kitty isn’t eating properly).

It was different.

I really miss home.

• Change your address with your bank.
• Change your address with USPS (you can do it online but they charge you a $1 fee).
• Check your state laws about how soon you need to get your license’s addressed changed. In NC, this is done online for a $10 fee.

My trip to Carowinds (a NC amusment park) was cancelled due to a 70% chance of thunderstorms for the park. If another day can be arranged before school starts, I’ll have to drive down to meet my friends. Other than that, I need to get packing!

I also said the first goodbye that made me cry.
