A Ghost of Daisies

A $5 find from the local Goodwill. It’s a David’s Bridal dress and can be seen here for originally $180. I’m hoping to make it into a steampunk inspired gown.

Under Dr. William Kealy’s tutelage this semester, I had to tackle six projects. The final project is a tables-based website for an imaginary company, The Godaisies Foundation that teaches work safety skills. The website can be visited here from Dr. Kealy’s website.

I was at work today and ran across pink filing cabinets which we had gotten in stock. I didn’t even know I needed pink filing cabinets in my life till then! While I can’t find the one I saw on the store’s website, I found the above pretty picture on flickr. I know what my next days off project is going to be!

Update: I found a photo of the pink filing cabinet sold by Walmart at Unbirthday. I checked Walmart’s website again and they have not posted their pink filing cabinet. However, I recently saw one at my local store, so I know that they’re still being sold.

Also via The Post Family, I found a link to Christoper Doyle’s project Christopher Doyle Identity Guidelines 2008. I’m a little apphrensive about doing an uh..undressed shot, but then again, I did graduate from a liberal arts school.
